“Be self controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers, throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings” (I Peter 5: 8-9). “The greatest tactic a lion has is surprise. Once its prey realizes there is a lion in the thicket, there is a good chance the lion will go hungry that night. In our life, there is a lion in the thicket! Satan is alive and active. His intentions are evil and destructive. There is a battle for our souls – but there is power for victory in Jesus Christ” “Submit yourselves then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).
