There were congregational songs (Ben Baumann, guitar, Jonathan Bass, piano, Andy and Joey, guitars, Steve Ervin, drums, Ben and Lauren, vocals). Lauren Gordon read the Christmas Story from Luke. At the appropriate time in the reading, children came up front to the manger: Joseph (Shammond Ervin), Mary (Ella Bauman), Shepherds (Eli Baumann, Korrina Ervin, Karoline Jordan), Angels (McKenna Gordon, Ashlynn and Tara and Kinsey DeJardin, Cydny Kickbush). The children then went downstairs to take off their costumes. They made Christmas tree ornaments and played until they returned to sing several songs while playing bells. They ended the program singing, “We Wish You A Merry Christmas”. While the children were downstairs, Ben Baumann played a video he created with the youth group teens. It was a Dragnet skit about finding the real meaning of Christmas. Included in the video were: Christian Cornell, Cody Wasmer, Stefanie Cornell, Josh Goodwin, Steve Ervin, Micala Ervin, Joey Munao, Bradley Jordan, Lauren Gordon, Marina Swanson, Josh Ervin, Autumn Dompke, Shammond Ervin, Andy Munao, Brien Jordan, Stephaine Baumann, Katy Jordan, Lydia Schultz, Korrina Ervin. A light snow was falling as people arrived. There were well over 250 people in attendance. MC for the evening, Jim Morris. He noted Dan Hansen and Diane Kahlscheurer had put together a great program. Emmett Woods put in many hours with the sound system. All of them worked both with practices and the program. Emmett literally “ran” co-ordinates between the stage and the upper level sound booth. A TPAC committee set up and staffed the intermission break with hot apple cider, coffee, and a bountiful array of Christmas cookies. Our sympathy to his wife, Sally. The Tettings have owned and run Lampert Yards for years. * Tom Noonan collapsed at the end of the TPAC “Gift of Holiday Cheer”. He was transported to Bellin Hospital in Green Bay and underwent triple by-pass surgery for heart blockage. He is recuperating and expected to return home soon. “We want to tell everyone we are very thankful for every prayer and effort that was made to keep Tom with us.” – from Sonja. * Detroit Harbor Ladies Aid hosted their Annual Christmas Party at the Trinity Fellowship Hall Dec. 16.
